How release tracking works

OrgoMedia watches your release queue by reading status from Radarr and Sonarr. It doesn’t connect to your client directly. The *arr apps already do that, so OrgoMedia doesn’t need to.

What that means day to day

  • Progress at a glance: active items, percent complete, and estimated time, read from the *arr queue.
  • Automatic hand-off: when something finishes, rename processing starts on its own.
  • Stall recovery: when Radarr or Sonarr flag an item as stalled, unseeded, or failed, OrgoMedia picks that up and can search for an alternative release.

Which clients work?

Any client Radarr and Sonarr support. You configure it once in Radarr’s and Sonarr’s own settings. OrgoMedia picks up the status automatically.

Why it works this way

Radarr and Sonarr already talk to the app that fetches your releases, so OrgoMedia reads from them instead. There is nothing extra to set up, no other password stored in OrgoMedia, and it works the same whichever app Radarr and Sonarr hand releases to.
