Troubleshooting
Fixes for the problems people meet most, from setup to a file that was skipped.
Express setup didn’t find my *arr app
The auto-detector looks for your *arr apps on their standard local addresses. If yours runs on a custom port or another machine, add it manually in Settings → Integrations: enter the address and API key and OrgoMedia will test the connection.
Plex login doesn’t complete
Plex’s sign-in PIN is good for about four minutes, so restart the flow if you waited too long. Behind a proxy, make sure the redirect can reach plex.tv/link.
The watcher isn’t picking up files
The watcher needs read access to the folder through macOS’s file-system events. Check System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access and confirm OrgoMedia is allowed for any folder outside your home directory.
An anime lands in the wrong season
Open the file in the activity feed and use Manual match to pick the correct season. The engine won’t silently rename. When it isn’t confident it queues the file for you, and it remembers your correction.
A file was skipped by mistake
Check your skip keywords and minimum-duration filter in Settings → Watcher. Trailers, NCOPs, NCEDs, samples, and very short clips are skipped by design; loosen the rules if your file matched one of them.
Releases aren’t showing up in OrgoMedia
OrgoMedia reads release status from Radarr and Sonarr, so start there: open the client settings in each and confirm the connection test passes. If they can’t see the release, neither can OrgoMedia.
Finished files aren’t being organized
OrgoMedia only organizes files in the folders it watches. Open Settings → Watcher and check that one of them is the completed folder, where finished releases wait for Radarr and Sonarr to pick them up. You set its path in your client app, the one Radarr and Sonarr hand releases to, in its setting for completed items. If a file lands somewhere OrgoMedia isn’t watching, nothing picks it up.
